Polo G recently dropped his fourth studio album ‘Hood Poet’, the follow-up to 2021’s “Hall of Fame. Polo posted on social media about its release: “Long time coming But we Finally Here. Hood Poet Out Now He Overcame Obstacles During Pain Or Emotional Trauma”
The 18-track album includes the previously released “We Uh Shoot” with Lil Durk, “Angels in the Sky” and “Barely Holdin’ On” – with additional guest appearances comes from G Herbo, Fridayy, 42 Dugg, The Kid LAROI, GloRilla, Future and more. Polo also just shared the video for the track ‘Darkside’
In a new interview with The Breakfast Club, the rapper revealed how sobriety helped his music process. “Coming early onto my carer, p-lls [were] my thing a lot. I made a lot of good songs off dr-gs. [Sometimes], you would start thinking, ‘Oh, that’s the only way I’ma [make good music],’ Now, at this point in my life, I make my best music sober.”
