Post Malone has been named as the 2025 Record Store Day Ambassador, which celebrates its 18th anniversary on Saturday, April 12th. The Record Store Day website has a list of participating locations.
The artist said in a statement: “What an honor, I can’t believe I was chosen to be Record Store Day’s Ambassador for 2025. Record Store Day is so important and I really hope to do my part to keep it alive. We love hitting local shops when we’re on the road, seeing all the crazy artwork, the whole energy in a record store is just super inspiring. I feel at home. It’s really an unexplainable feeling to hit up a shop and dig through crates, just see what grabs your eye. You can be looking for something super specific and end up finding something totally different. It’s the best. Keep supporting y’all and let’s keep records and these local shops going strong. Happy Record Store Day everybody!”
Fans can pick up limited edition and exclusive physical releases by Gracie Abrams, Tori Amos, The B52’s, Kelsea Ballerini, Black Sabbath, David Bowie, Charli XCX, The Doors, Duran Duran, Fleetwood Mac, Jerry Garcia, Grateful Dead, George Harrison & Beck, Jethro Tull, Elton John, The Killers & Bruce Springsteen, Geddy Lee, Megan Thee Stallion, Joni Mitchell, Motley Crue, Oasis, Post Malone, Prince, Queen, Lou Reed, Keith Richards, The Rolling Stones, Shakira, Snoop Dogg, Stone Temple Pilots, Taylor Swift, Tesla, U2, and many others.
Record Store Day co-founder Carrie Colliton adds: “I’m very excited about Ambassador ‘Posty’. Musically, he’s all over the place — just like record stores and their customers, especially some of the newest, youngest people to embrace their local brick-and-mortar spaces.”
