Ariana Grande is back with new music, releasing the single and music video for the song “Yes, And?”, and announcing her seventh studio album, Eternal Sunshine, scheduled for release March 8. The album will have four exclusive covers, one of which Grande revealed, showing her wearing red lipstick and sheer gloves. Grande’s most recent album, Positions, debuted in 2020.
The video for “Yes, And?” opens with people gossiping and speculating about the 30-year-old Grande, after which the critics take a seat and watch Grande sing and dance, eventually joining in as Grande is turned to stone. Meanwhile the lyrics of “Yes, And?” (written and produced by Grande, Max Martin, and Ilya Salmanzadeh) appear to address scrutiny of her relationship with Ethan Slater, her boyfriend and co-star in the upcoming film adaptation of ‘Wicked’. ‘Wicked’ is set to arrive in two-parts, with the first premiering this November and the second due in 2025.
