Lil Wayne is teasing a new project before his anticipated “Tha Carter VI”. Wayne shared on his social media, a pre-save link for an upcoming project titled “Tha Fix Before Tha VI”. The artwork for the project is reminiscent of Wayne’ 2011’s mixtape “Sorry 4 Tha Wait”, which was before his “Tha Carter IV” album.
Wayne’s last project was in 2020, his thirteenth studio album “Funeral”; that project was the follow-up to his 2018’s “Tha Carter V”. Funeral debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, moving over 139,000 album-equivalent units in its first week and featuring Jay Rock, Big Sean, Lil Baby, Adam Levine, 2 Chainz, Takeoff and more.
