BTS are sharing the new digital single “Take Two” as part of the “BTS Festa” festival, commemorating the 10th anniversary of the group’s debut. All members of the K-pop group participated in the making of the song. According to a statement from HYBE, the song is a nod to BTS’ “second chapter” and an “ode to their fans,” affectionately called the ‘ARMY’,
BTS debuted in 2013 under BigHit Entertainment, with the single “2 Cool 4 Skool” and has since achieved worldwide fame. The band has become the first in the K-pop genre to top the Billboard “Hot 100” singles chart and “Billboard 200” albums chart, and have achieved six chart-topping songs and albums as a group.
“BTS Festa” festival kicked off last week at various locations in Seoul to celebrate the anniversary of the band’s debut, which officially falls on June 13. The fest will be held until June 17, in collaboration with the Seoul municipal government, under the motto “BTS PRESENTS EVERYWHERE” (BTS is present everywhere). The main event will take place on June 17 at Hangang River Park in Yeouido.
