YoungBoy Never Broke Again has announced that his new project, I Rest My Case, will arrive on Friday, January 6th via Motown Records. The upcoming project and its cover art were revealed via DJ Akademiks, and will mark his first new music of the year and the follow-up to Lost Files, which just came out on December 23, 2022.  I Rest My Case will  be his first release under his newly-signed record deal with Motown Records.

In April, YoungBoy Never Broke Again reunited with fellow Louisiana rapper P. Yungin on a new single “Pull Up Actin.” The track marked the latest collaboration between YoungBoy Never Broke Again and the rising teenage MC, who previously worked together on 2020’s “I’m On,” and the Never Broke Again: The Compilation, Vol.1 tracks “Choppa Dance,” “Red Steps,” “Ashes On The Floor,” and more. Never Broke Again: The Compilation, Vol. 1 also marked the beginning of YoungBoy’s partnership with the legendary Motown Records.

To date, YoungBoy Never Broke Again has topped the charts with eight Top 10 debuts on the Billboard Top 200 and four No.1 debuts on the respective chart, including the platinum AI YoungBoy 2 (2019), gold 38 Baby 2 (2020), platinum Top (2020), and Sincerely, Kentrell (2021).
