The Rolling Stones will resume their European Sixty Tour on Tues, June 21st in Milan, Italy, just one week after the group was forced to postpone two shows due to frontman Mick Jagger’s COVID diagnosis.

Jagger said in a video statement“Thanks so much for all of your lovely messages, I really appreciate them. I’m sorry for the inconvenience about the shows, but we’ll be on stage in Milan on Tuesday, so see you there. The crew are busy setting up the stage in the glorious Italian sunshine, we can’t wait to see you at San Siro Stadium tomorrow night!”

The Stones was forced to cancel a show in Amsterdam and Bern, Switzerland last week after Jagger tested positive with COVID symptoms upon arriving in Amsterdam on June 13th. The Amsterdam show has been rescheduled for July 7th, but the Bern show has been canceled since they could find an alternative date or venue for the concert in Switzerland.  The Stones said in a statement: “The band wish to send a huge apology to all the fans in Switzerland who bought tickets and are deeply saddened they cannot perform in Bern on this tour.”

Tickets for the show in Amsterdam will remain valid for the new date and with details to be emailed to ticket holders via Ticketmaster. All tickets for the Bern show will be refunded between June 21st and July 17th from their point of purchase.
